Why I Joined the Medical Advisory Board of Good Clean Clinical Care
Some of the most frustrated patients I meet are not the ones with complicated pregnancies. They are the ones who have been dealing with recurrent vaginal symptoms for years.
They have been treated three or four times. They have been told it is normal, or stress, or nothing. Somewhere along the way they stopped expecting an answer and started planning around the problem. By the time the conversation reaches me, the exhaustion is usually doing more damage than the symptoms.
That is why I joined the medical advisory board of Good Clean Clinical Care, which launched in September 2026.
What Good Clean Clinical Care is
GCCC is a telehealth platform built specifically for chronic and unresolved vaginal health symptoms. The model has three parts:
Testing first. Care begins with a 56-target qPCR vaginal microbiome panel, which looks at a considerably wider range of organisms than a standard workup.
A real clinical visit. Patients meet virtually with clinicians experienced in complex vaginal health, who read the panel alongside symptoms and medical history rather than in isolation.
Treatment built on the findings. When treatment is appropriate, prescriptions are custom-compounded in BiomeNourish, a prescription base built on patented Bio-Match technology and formulated for the vaginal and vulvar environment. It is designed to match the pH and osmolality associated with a healthy vaginal microbiome rather than override it.
Why the sequence matters
In most of medicine, we test, we diagnose, and then we treat what we found. Vaginal health has often skipped the first two steps. A woman describes symptoms, receives a prescription, improves briefly, and returns. The cycle repeats, and each round reinforces the idea that this is simply something she has to live with.
Starting with information about the vaginal microbial environment does not guarantee an answer in every case. What it does is replace a guess with a starting point, and it gives the woman in the room something concrete to work from. After years of being told there was nothing to find, that alone changes the conversation.
Who this is for
If you have been treated repeatedly for vaginal infections or symptoms without lasting resolution, if you have been told your symptoms are normal when they do not feel normal to you, or if you want to understand what is actually happening rather than manage it indefinitely, this is a different place to start.
